Michael and Liam Win at Fightnight Event - Monday, November 09, 2009

Both Michael Cutting and Laim McGeary won their respective fights at the Andover Fight Night 'No Argument'.

Michael Cutting was up first against Stuart Ketchington in 3 x 2 min rounds. The opening round was very fast and Michaels opponent took advantage of Michael's rather wild kicks landing several good punches and kicks. Michael forgot the rules at one point when he got caught in a clinch and reverted to his Ju JItsu, throwing his opponent to the floor with a Harai Goshi.

In round 2 after listening to his corner Michael changed his tactics and took control of the fight using just his hands, landing some good head shots and putting his opponent on the back foot.

In round 3 Michael stepped up the pace and staying with mainly punches rocked his opponent several times and forcing him into the ropes. The final bell bought a unanimous decision from the judges in Michaels favour.

Liam McGeary's fight finished in the first round at 1 min 58 sec after his opponents corner threw in the towel due to the punishment their man was taking. The video can be seen on Youtube on the link above.
