Ryan started his martial arts interest in Judo at the age of 11, moving to junior Ju jitsu and then later in life trying out JKD and Akido, before returning to Ju Jitsu, a martial art he can rely on in the real world.

Ryan has held a career in the field of security since 1998 where he has worked in a variety of roles, pub and night club Security, Event Security Management, Personal Security for Celebrity, Business person and premises.

Ryan holds many Certificates and Qualifications in training and learning practices including a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming from the International NLP Trainers Association, NCFE and BIIAB Certs in Door Supervising, Maybo Conflict Management, Maybo Physical Intervention, TAP Trainer, AMA Coach, First Aid and is registered with the SIA.

Ryan's passion for training started when he joined the Territorial Army where he spent time as an infantry soldier, this has now grown into a full time career in training internationally.

Ryan is a member of many proffesional bodies including SIA, Insitutue of Conflict Management, Chartered Management Institute and TAP.
