Alexei started his martial arts career in Judo at the age of 14, and quickly moved up to Ju Jitsu, winnning many of tournaments using his incredible strength and determination.

Alexei has also competed in Grapple and Strike and MMA events, the last of which left him with a torn ACL and knee damage. After surgery and months of rehabilitation Alexei made an amazing comeback and did enough to be selected as the Super-Heavy Weight Squad Member - England Sports Ju Jitsu Squad for Las Vegas 2010 World Championships.

In July 2009 Alexei pulled out all the stops and took England to victory over Switzerland, winning the final match to take the competition from a 2 all draw to 3-2 to England.
